GENERAL INFORMATION

 

1.  Bookings are usually from Saturday to Saturday, but Lovat Lodge will try to accommodate travellers by air, coach or rail who find midweek travel more acceptable. Mini Breaks are from any day of the week subject to availability, but we regret that they cannot be pre booked more than 2 weeks in advance.

 

2.  Guests may check in from 2pm  on the day of arrival and rooms must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

 

3.  Please fix labels to your luggage with your name and address. Also the name of the hotel you are staying at.

 

4.  If you are receiving regular treatment from a district nurse you are advised to provide them with full details of your holday so they may inform our nursing service in Nairn. Their telephone number is 01667 452096 and they will require at least fourteen(14) days notice.

 

5.  Pets are generally not allowed, with the exception of registered dogs for the disabled, i.e. guide dogs. Please check with the hotel management when booking.

 

6.  Smoking is not permitted in any indoor areas within the hotel. Where possible we can provide rooms with either balconies or patios where it is acceptable to smoke outside of the bedroom. Please advise the management of your requirements when booking.

 

7.  Bedrooms do vary in size and are allocated according to personal needs and disabilities. It is imperative that your needs are made clear at the time of booking.

 

8.  Whilst the hotel staffs are caring they are not permitted to assist with any medication or with personal care. If you require assistance you would need to be accompanied by a carer. Or, you may prefer to arrange for care from a local agency (as a private arrangement and at your own expense). They require at least fourteen (14) days notice. You may request a small refrigerator during your stay for the safe storage of any medication.

 

9.  If a medical condition or other health issue of any guest is such as to cause a nuisance to other guests or hotel staff in the professional judgement of the management. The hotel management reserve the right to cancel the guest’s holiday without compensation.

 

10.  It is very important that you advise the manager of any special needs you may require also include any particular dietary requirements in advance of your holiday.
